Hi There!
It's been about 5 months since I last posted here, so much has happened in that time it's difficult to know where to start.
OK let's skip right past the work commitments (I was away from home a lot) and move onto something more relevant.
Our trio of gamers is down to two, Steven and I (James). The limited armies and painted models we own has created some difficulties - no one wants to see the same two people pit the same two forces against each other time and again!
Good news! We have found ourselves a new location to play which has presented us with more people to play with (and record games). As we are settling in to this new gaming group, it will be a few weeks before the videos really kick off!
Isn't it just typical that I sit down to type this, I am packing my bags to go abroad for 2 weeks!
In the meantime, here are a couple of pictures of the Farseer on Jetbike model I will be working on. I love this model and it's a shame Games Workshop do not make one, the resin is a bit too brittle on this cast!

Vanguard Kitbashing
Ian here (the D3+1 Tau, Deathguard and Ultramarine player).
Obviously we'll be covering the new Space Marines release a lot in up coming videos and I've got some new models to play with. I picked up the new Vanguard box without any intention of using them for anything other than a collection of wonderful bits to pillage for other uses and I thought I'd show off some stuff I've done with it.
Here's something basic to start with. I used the Relic Blade and one of the Storm Shields from the box and did some surgery on the sergeant from the Space Marine Command Squad box to create a custom Chapter Master I plan to use sometime soonish (armed with the Burning Blade and the Shield Eternal).
As for the bodies of the Vanguard marines themselves I decided to turn them into Honour Guard. For those that don't know - the only official Honour Guard models for marines are the Ultramarine themed ones that come in the box with Calgar. If you want to field a lot of them (which is something else I want to try) you kind of have to fend for yourself. So here we have the Vanguards transformed into Honour Guard using some spare power wepaons and backpacks I had in my bits collection. The Company Champion is using a Thunder Hammer from the Vanguard box.

Randomized Armies! : Blood Angels vs Eldar 1000pts (video batrep)
When we are short on time, we try to squeeze in quicker 1000 point games.
As a change of pace, we decided to write a 1000 point list for every army we collectively own!
First up, Ian drew Blood Angels and James drew Eldar (oops!). Both armies were James' so he had written both.

40k Battle Report -1000pts Blood Angels VS Chaos Space Marines (Video)
Deployment: Hammer and Anvil
Mission: Big Guns Never Tire
Night Fighting: On
Ok so this was my first Blood Angels game - some rules were confused because I bought the models the day before this match. The original list of models to buy did not include terminators and did include two sanguinary priests.

HQ Battle Arena Matches
Along with our battle reports we've started doing short HQ match ups in an arena setting. The first two bouts are up, starting with Eldrad facing up against the Avatar. Keep in mind these are not strategic match ups and is purely for ridiculous fun.
The rules we use follow normal assault rules with two exceptions:
1. We roll off to see who is said to be charging who, the winner getting all relevant bonuses (such as +1 Attack, Hammer of Wrath if a MC and so on).
2. The winner of the bout stays on as the champion of the arena, however they can only regain a single wound so if more than that was lost they would go into the next round weaker than normal. This is to help balance out slightly stronger HQ against weaker counter parts.
We are a little concerned about models capable of causing instant death being too strong and ending bouts too quickly so we're considering having tiers of matches up (similar to boxing, you might say) and would appreciate feedback on that subject.

40k Battle Report -1500pts Eldar VS Space Marines (Video)
This worked out a bit like a grudge match, devastation both sides as the game goes the full distance.
We aren't too sure who won because of the first blood wording with independent characters so please let us know what you think - page references would be preferable!
Mission: The Emperor's Will
Deployment: Hammer and Anvil
Nightfighting Turn 1: ON
